In 1840s England, scientist Mary Anning and a more youthful woman despatched by her significant other to convalesce by the sea build up an extreme relationship. Despite the gorge between their social circles and characters, Mary and Charlotte reveal they will each supply what the inverse has been searching for: the acknowledgment that they don’t appear to be separated from everyone else.
